  8. This program is basically a database of film titles,
  9. actors who appeared in the films, directors, writers
  10. and in some cases a short synopsis of the film, to
  11. tell you briefly what the film is about.
  12.  
  13. You just type in a film title, an actors name or
  14. just parts of the former and the database will be
  15. scanned for the word(s) you typed in. When a match
  16. is found, all the information about that film will
  17. be displayed on the screen.

  19. The scanned words are not case sensitive, ie. just
  20. type in an actors' name - don't worry about starting
  21. it with a capital letter.
  22.  
  23. Remember that the first word searched for, should be
  24. more uncommon than the second or third word in the
  25. search as it is this word that the program looks for
  26. first. When this first word is found then the second
  27. word is checked for in this line of text. If this
  28. word is found, subsequent checks (up to 10 words in
  29. total) are carried out.

  31. Thus, to find films 'Ed Asner' has appeared in, type
  32. 'asner ed' as there will probably be more Ed's found
  33. than Asner's.

  35. Note: You can now type, for instance, 'onner ean'
  36. and films that Sean Connery appeared in will be
  37. shown.

  40. An actor may, obviously, appear in many films, so
  41. you may need to slow down or halt the printing of
  42. the film information. The easiest way to do this is
  43. by pressing <CTRL> or <CTRL><SHIFT>.

  49. W:  Written by  (Original story by)
  50. P:  Produced by
  51. D:  Directed by

  53. The program is speeded up slightly if the whole
  54. application ie. !Movie, is copied into and run from
  55. the RAMDISK.
